ADMIN: Extension of deadline to 31st January [Dec. 31st, 2004|02:37 pm]
Sports Manga/Anime Crossover Challenge!

[mood |workingworking]
[music |David Bridie - Float]

It's been an unusually hectic year, fandom-wise, with projects such as subrosa_tennis and yuletide taking up large chunks of time for many people -- including myself. Then, more importantly, there are real life events, most recently the earthquake and tsunami that shook Asia.

With all that in mind, I'm extending the deadline for SMACC to 31st January 2005. In the meantime, feel free to post any fanfic or fanart you've finished.

You can make a difference.
Just by spreading the call for help.

[ADMIN] SMACC Now Accepting Fanart [Sep. 1st, 2004|01:49 pm]
Sports Manga/Anime Crossover Challenge!

After consultation and much thinking, I've decided to open up SMACC to fanart, including doujinshi/fan comics. The FAQ and sign-up sheet will be modified in the next few hours to reflect this change.

The same basic rules apply, so feel free to sign up in the meantime. I am also looking for another moderator to help with the community. If you have the time and energy to spare, please get in contact with me.

Sign-up Sheet [Aug. 31st, 2004|12:42 pm]
Sports Manga/Anime Crossover Challenge!

The challenge is now officially open!

Please leave a comment on this post to sign up for the 2004 Sports Manga/Anime Crossover Challenge. You must sign up in order to participate, but you may do so at any time up to and including 30 December.

You do not have to note down what and how many stories/artworks you'll be writing/drawing (though it'll be appreciated), unless you're answering one of the specific challenges listed below. Only two writers and two artists per wishlist plotbunny, so sign up quickly as they'll be doled out on a first-come-first-served basis. *g*

No, you do not have to pick one of the plotbunnies in order to participate in the challenge. This is a wishlist, not a must-write list. Please refer to the FAQ.

The WishlistCollapse )

In order to keep up with updates, please join faitofaitofaito and/or add it to your flist. This community is where the stories and fanart will be posted, along with admin announcements. If you'd like to find a beta reader or have a question, please post to games_chatter.

There you go. Faito!

I need moderators for faitofaitofaito and games_chatter, so if you have time to spare, please lend a hand. Banners and icons are also very much welcome -- this challenge needs all the advertising it can get.
